Nikki Hunter is a retired educator and entrepreneur from South Carolina. She has one daughter. Nikki’s divorce was her “Life’s a Bitch!” moment. She never imagined being alone. Through the journey of discovering herself, she learned a lot about her strength, determination, and courage that was within. Different circumstances and experiences led her to understanding that she could possibly help others on their journey. It’s not easy, but she has had the mental, spiritual, and emotional fortitude to push past her “Life’s a Bitch!” moment to success.
Detria Miller is a hair stylist and entrepreneur from South Carolina. She has two children, a son and a daughter. The death of Detria’s husband was her “Life’s a Bitch!” moment. She never imagined being alone. Through her journey, she’s discovered that she is strong, courageous, confident, and resilient. Losing her husband without warning flipped her world upside down, but with family, friends, prayer, and a will to forge ahead, she has been able to move past her “Life’s a Bitch!” moment empowering others and being successful simultaneously.
